Description
It is expected that there will be approximately 190,000 registered items for delivery, containing ballot papers for the upcoming Seanad Eireann Elections 2025.
They will be processed in the Mail Centres on 30th December 2024 and forwarded to Delivery Service Units from 31st December 2024.
All registered items should be delivered on or before Thursday 2nd January.
The following are the agreed delivery arrangements:
- The first 15 items for delivery will be absorbed at no additional cost.
- Additional items will be paid at a rate of 15 minutes overtime per 4 items
- For rounding purpose where odd numbers are concerned the following will apply:
- 1 or 2 items – no payment
- 3 or 4 items- 15 minutes
- Only one delivery attempt should be made in respect of these registered items. A docket should be left at the first attempted delivery and the items returned in due course if not collected.
Local arrangements will made to process the registered items including the required procedures for redirections and returns. For each 500 Seanad registered items processed in reg lockers 1.5 hours will be paid per office.
